Washing Your Dog

Ever smell your dog and think, “I really need to give you a bath!”

Dogs are great pets but having them all over your things can become smelly. That is why it is recommended to wash your dog anywhere from once a week to once every two months.

Each dog has a different amount of fur, physical activity and accidents. While it is more up to the owner’s discretion, washing your furry friend is a must. Weekly or monthly washes will prevent itchiness in your pup, as well as help prevent allergens before they get into their skin.

Dogs may also smell due to secondary yeast or bacterial infections in their skin. Be sure that you are washing them thoroughly and give them regular vet checkups.

While we wash your dog when we come out to do a grooming, you also want to wash them between our visits.

Creating a loving and caring environment for your furry friend is ultimately up to you. The amount of time that you spend understanding the wants and needs of your puppy are so crucial to their lives, which means that we need to stay informed.
